One of my family computers crashed due to Google Chrome. So if you choose between chrome, IE, and firefox, choose firefox or IE. The reason being is beacause Chrome is still in BETA and doesn't have the security features that the others do.

Same thing,happend to me when i tried Google Chrome 3 Beta…so Im now on Firefox

that's always the assumed risk of using beta software. that's why i always test my software on a spare computer.

I think every browser has got its own advantages as well as disadvantages.

I use all browsers ex,chrome, firefox, safari………. i have a folder for browsers only. No one is perfect just you have to admit the +ve points of it..Laugh

Google's main chrome build is NOT in beta. They have a beta branch though.

weird… google chrome is actually known for stability… that's why steam integrated it in their overlay

Well it used to be in beta (like all other new software). Now it's stable. The reason that topic is mentioning that it's beta is because it's submitted in 2009 (look at the date of the post). If it wasn't beta in 2009, then it's probably saying that about the beta version (branch). Wink
