Not to be too critical, but a stripped down version of Excel and Powerpoint does not equate to MS Office. Nor will Microsoft offer a “full version” of their Office applications for free (definitely not the Microsoft way).

Also, if someone is in desperate need of this software, why not just use Google docs, Zoho, or Open Office in a pinch?

And please, please cut out the annoying sound effects (please).

@Ms.Tisk – The issues that you have with this piece of software would be better directed at a Microsoft forum as opposed to hear. I have nothing to do with them calling it Microsoft Office or even what hey decide to offer for free and what they don’t. As I mentioned at the beginning of the video, I don’t see really point in using the this beta software at this point. Everyone agrees with you in that Google docs and Zoho are better for this…the video never tries to promote this over them. I’m not sure why you would equate being critical of their service as being critical of this video. It’s obvious that you don’t like the video, but projecting the shortcomings of the microsoft software as a means for this being a bad video is seemingly misguided.

I could not get this feature to activate. In firefox I got the view option but no edit. In IE I only got an option to download the file.
